Program Assistant 
Full-Time Contract (June 16th 2025 – August 22nd 2025) – 70 Hours Bi-Weekly

Who we are:
ILS is an Ontario Health funded not for profit agency providing support and services to adults wishing to live independently in their homes. Through our programs and services, we are able to assist adults living with permanent physical disabilities and seniors aging at home lead independent, dignified, and productive lives. 

What you would be doing:
Reporting to the Administrative Assistant and Executive Assistant to the Board, the Program Assistant provides reception and administrative support services to the various departments within the Agency. Duties include but are not limited to:

Administrative Support:
  • Reception duties - phone system maintenance/voicemail/greet walk-ins/provide general information and answer questions.
  • Updates and distributes Office and Site phone & locations lists.
  • Organizes meeting venues.
  • Updating database information.
  • Participation in the completion of the annual client survey.
  • Distribution and coordination of mails outs.
  • Other administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Previous experience working with the public.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Demonstrated customer service focus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
  • Comfortability in using related equipment including technology.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Total Compensation:  
Pay: $20.00/hourly
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm on-site at our Barrie location
